About Us:

Jack “Jay” and Lynette Hester are the new owners and operators of the Maaco auto painting and body shop franchise located at 4321 Stine Road in Bakersfield, California. They purchased the business in January 2008 and began immediately to revamp the business into a premier auto painting and body shop business.

Jay, a Bakersfield North High School graduate, has always maintained a keen intense interest in automobiles and brings to the business over 22 years experience in the automotive and recreational vehicle industry. 

Lynette, who attended Highland High School and Bakersfield College, holds a California insurance license and lends her experience from the insurance industry to the business.  

Jay and Lynette have twin boys born in 2005 and recently celebrated their third birthday. Their hobbies and interest include auto racing, boating, camping, 4-wheelling, and many other outdoor sports. Their menagerie currently includes two horses, five dogs, and numerous cats.
